Ingredients
Scale:
12 oz penne pasta
1 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy, about 3-5 minutes. Add nutmeg, salt, and pepper to taste.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chopped lobster meat, and Alfredo sauce. Mix gently until well coated.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, followed by the breadcrumbs.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
