Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup boiling water (for red layer)
1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jello
1/2 cup vodka (or any clear spirit, such as rum or gin)
1 cup boiling water (for white layer)
1 package (3 oz) unflavored gelatin
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup vodka (optional, for added flavor)
1 cup boiling water (for blue layer)
1 package (3 oz) blue raspberry Jello
1/2 cup vodka (or any clear spirit)
Instructions
Prepare the Red Layer: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of boiling water with the strawberry Jello. Stir until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Add the vodka and mix well. Pour the mixture evenly into shot glasses or small cups, filling them up to about one-third full.
Chill the Red Layer: Place the filled shot glasses in the refrigerator for about 1 hour or until firm.
Prepare the White Layer: Dissolve 1 cup of boiling water with the unflavored gelatin in a separate mixing bowl. Stir until fully dissolved. Add in the sweetened condensed milk and vodka (if using) and mix thoroughly. Once the red layer is set, gently pour this white layer over the red layer in the shot glasses.
Chill the White Layer: Return the shot glasses to the refrigerator and allow the white layer to set for another hour.
Prepare the Blue Layer: Combine 1 cup of boiling water with blue raspberry Jello in a bowl, stirring until dissolved. Add in the vodka and mix well. Once the white layer is set, carefully pour the blue layer over it to fill the glasses completely.
Chill the Blue Layer: Return to the refrigerator for an additional 1 hour to set.
